Text Message Terms
One-time sign-in codes by text, for people who use the software services Axella Research operates.
Last updated: October 2026
The program
Axella Research, LLC sends one-time sign-in codes by text message to people who use the software services it operates: MedHX Pro, UniversalHX and Ecosera. A code proves it is really you signing in. When a patient asks their medical practice to connect their UniversalHX personal health record, we also text them the invitation link and, if they ask for it, a verification code. These are account messages only. We never send marketing texts.
How you join
Signed in to one of our services, you open your account's security settings, choose to receive sign-in codes by text, enter your mobile number and confirm it with the first code we send. Texting is optional: you can use an authenticator app instead. For a UniversalHX invitation, you give your practice your mobile number for that purpose, and you receive one invitation link.
How often
One text each time you sign in, or when you confirm a security change to your account. How many you receive depends on how often you sign in. An invitation is a single text, plus a code only if you request one.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for these texts.
Stopping and help
Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop receiving them. You'll get one confirmation and no further texts; switch your account to an authenticator app so you can still sign in. Reply START to receive texts again. Reply HELP, email info@axellaresearch.com or call (732) 630-9059 for help.
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
We use your mobile number only to send your sign-in codes and to answer your HELP requests.
